Mussil: "The master of numbers"

Walter Mussil joined the Vienna office as a Partner in June 2010. He and his consulting team in Austria and Eastern Europe are experts in risk and capital management, and support our Financial Services Competence Center in this sector. Previously, Walter Mussil worked as Partner at KDB Krall Demmel Business Consulting GmbH, a Frankfurt-based consultancy with a focus on supporting financial services companies in Europe and the Middle East.

Walter Mussil has more than 15 years of industry experience in financial services. He studied mathematics in Vienna before joining Bank Austria/HVB's risk management. There, he was instrumental in establishing market and credit risk management, and headed the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide credit portfolio model. Then he went on to spend more than five years at Oliver Wyman in London and Frankfurt.

The financial services specialist regularly publishes articles on portfolio management and is frequently invited to speak at international conferences.

Walter Mussil is married and has one child.
